The famous Oscar-winning composer Ennio Morricone is regarded as one of the most prolific composers in the history of film music. He has written over 500 film scores for cinema and television, creating legendary pieces.
He won his last Oscar in February 2016 for « The Hateful 8 » by Tarantino. Morricone entered legend nearly 50 years ago with his music for « Once Upon a Time in the West ». His compositions for the classic spaghetti western « The Good, the Bad and the Ugly », the drama « Mission » by Roland Joffé, and the film « Cinema Paradiso » by Giuseppe Tornatore have gained particular fame.
His fans can discover the unforgettable works of Morricone live in certain cities. The special guest Marc Breitfelder is among the best harmonica players in the world. He will be joined on stage by the grand ensemble composed of soloists, the orchestra, and the choir of the Milano Festival Opera to bring Morricone's captivating music to life.
